Account usage: generic error message
The storage_quota_exceeded message and guidance now direct you to support without usage figures.
30 September 2026 now describe the account's maximum usage and direct you to support.
What changes
The API's Spanish error.message now reads
Has alcanzado el uso máximo de tu cuenta. Escríbenos a soporte.
It no longer includes usage, limit or file-size figures. The guidance in the
error catalog and the
rate limits guide directs you to contact support;
waiting or retrying does not resolve this error.
What stays the same
The error keeps error.code: storage_quota_exceeded, HTTP 402,
error.type: payment_required_error and the existing response headers,
including X-Request-Id. This code keeps payment_required_error in every
API version; this update introduces no new Factuarea-Version requirement.
The affected API operations (three in total) and their MCP tools retain their names, request fields and URLs:
| Operation | MCP tool |
|---|---|
POST /v1/purchase_invoices/{purchase_invoice}/attach-file | attach_purchase_invoice_file |
POST /v1/verifactu/certificates | upload_company_certificate |
POST /v1/delivery_notes/{delivery_note}/sign | sign_delivery_note |
Keep handling this error by error.code, since error.message is human-facing
text that may change. upload_in_flight_budget_exceeded keeps its separate
retry guidance.
