VeriFactu reports the real AEAT environment
The VeriFactu configuration and records return the AEAT environment and automatic submission of the instance: on the production API, always the real AEAT, automatically. environment and auto_transmit are deprecated in the settings update. Four updated operations and four updated MCP tools.
5 November 2026 — On the production API, VeriFactu records always go to the
real AEAT, automatically. The configuration said otherwise: it returned
environment: "sandbox" and auto_transmit: false from two per-company values
that never decided anything. It now returns what actually happens.
- Configuration —
GET /v1/companies/{company}/verifactu/configreturnsenvironment(productionorsandbox) andauto_transmitfrom the Factuarea instance, not from your company. On the production API they areproductionandtrue. - Records — every record returns the same
environment: the AEAT it is submitted to. environmentfilter — on the record list and the stats it now filters: the environment of the instance returns every record and any other value returns none. Before, it was ignored.- Deprecated in the update —
PATCH /v1/companies/{company}/verifactu/settingsstill acceptsenvironmentandauto_transmitso your integration keeps working, but they have no effect and the response returns the real values. They will be removed on 7 December 2026: stop sending them. - Test mode — VeriFactu is not available in test
(
403 module_not_available_in_sandbox): nothing is recorded or sent to the AEAT. In live there is no AEAT test environment to choose. See Test mode. - MCP tools —
get_verifactu_configreturns the same values,update_verifactu_settingsaccepts the two deprecated fields without effect, andsearch_verifactu_recordsandget_verifactu_statsfilter byenvironmentin the same way.
What reaches the AEAT has not changed: only what the API reports about it.
