Cause
The value does not fit the custom field type —for example, text in a numeric field or an option that is not in the list— or the field does not belong to the task's project.
What to do
Check the definition in GET /v1/projects/{project}/custom-fields and send in value data of its type (a YYYY-MM-DD date, a number, a boolean or options from its list), using only fields of the task's project.
